STATEWIDE — If you want to purchase alcohol as part of your Easter celebration, you might want to hit the liquor store before Sunday.
The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) stores announced on Thursday that all ABC stores will be closed on Sunday, April 4 for the Easter holiday.
Instead, residents can visit the Virginia ABC stores beforehand, including on Saturday April 3 from noon to stores’ “regular closing hours.”
All Virginia ABC stores will reopen at noon on Monday, April.
“April 5 is also Mini Monday, when customers can receive a complimentary 50ml bottle of Jameson Cold Brew Whiskey & Coffee with any purchase (online or in-store) of $25 or more in spirits or wine,” according to the Virginia ABC’s news release on Thursday. “Customers can shop ahead of Easter Sunday in-store or online with curbside pickup or home delivery in select areas.”
