William & Mary’s upcoming football game against Elon University has been postponed.
The Colonial Athletic Association announced Tuesday that the postponement of Tribe’s game on April 3 was the result of a COVID-19 protocols within the Elon program.
A decision on whether the game will be rescheduled will be made at a later date.
The Tribe’s record is 1-2, after falling 38-10 at home against the No. 1 ranked James Madison Dukes Saturday.
William & Mary defeated Elon in their first meeting March 20.
The Tribe’s season is scheduled to resume April 10 when they host the University of Richmond in the regular season finale.
