Spring has sprung and warm weather is here! There are numerous fun things to do around the Historic Triangle. What are your favorite activities? Here is what our newsroom said!

“I enjoy taking a packed lunch to Fort Monroe, sitting on top of Battery Irwin, and watching the ships. I also love exploring the area with my husband and our children.” Nancy Sheppard,  Managing Editor

“One of my favorite things to do in the spring is to walk around the neighborhood and look at cherry blossom trees. The flowers only bloom once a year, but it’s nice and it reminds me of home.” Julia Marsigliano, Assistant Editor

“When I’m not stocking up on Zyrtec and tissues, I love getting plants from local nurseries and collecting second hand-flower pots. Does gardening perpetuate my allergies? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. ” Gabrielle Rente, Multimedia Journalist

“For outdoor activities during spring break, I like to go to Waller Mill Park for kayaking or pedal boating. It’s good exercise and it’s fun to be out on the water.” Molly Feser, Multimedia Journalist
