YORKTOWN — United Way of Virginia Peninsula’s women’s group, Women United, is hosting their first ever feminine hygiene product drive on Saturday.
The event is entirely drive-thru and will include both donor drop-offs and local agency pick-ups.
Women United is asking that donors bring tampons, panty liners, and underwear in all sizes. The drive thru will help over 18 local agencies, which support approximately 3,000 women and girls across the Virginia Peninsula, according to the nonprofit organization’s announcement.
Donors are asked to bring these products to C.A. Barrs Contractors, Inc. 7601 George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown on Saturday, March 27 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
