Spring flowers bring May flowers. Or maybe something sweeter — like chocolate.
The James City County Parks & Recreation department is hosting a spring class for tweens and teens alike: The Spring Bouquet Chocolate Workshop.
According to the department’s Facebook post, bakers and decorators alike will use “flower molds to create the perfect (chocolate) bouquet.”
The event is open for bakers ages 6- to 13-years-old and registration costs $20. Registration includes all supplies. You can sign up for the workshop here.
Participants should note any food allergies during registration. All attendees are expected to bring an apron, “dress accordingly” and tie back long hair.
The Spring Bouquet Chocolate Workshop is at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road on Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to noon.
To register, sign up online or call 757-259-4200.
