Town and Country Properties has purchased the Town & Country Shopping Center in York County, according to a news release from Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, a global real estate services firm.
The price tag? $2.9 million.
The 39,000-square-foot property located at 4765-469 and 473 Merrimac Trail was purchased from Jefferson Realty Company as “an investment.”
The shopping center is fully leased.
Dawn F. Griggs and Drew Haynie of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the seller.
Griggs wrote in an email on Tuesday, the closing date for the property was Jan. 22 and the new owner will be making some long-term improvements, which will enhance the corridor.
Griggs did not elaborate further on the plans.
NAPA Auto, Family Dollar, Davita Dialysis, Eastside Church, The Wash House and Sherwin Williams Paints are the current tenants.
