Authorities are looking for a man suspected of stealing products from a store at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets.
On Dec. 27 at approximately 6:50 p.m. a man went to the Bath & Body Works store, put “several items” in a bag and left without paying for them, according to a James City County Police Department’s news release Wednesday.
Police described the suspect as a 40- to 50-year-old Black male with a “slender build.”
When asked why the police department was just now asking for the public’s help in identifying the man, Stephanie Williams, spokeswoman for the police department said there had been a delay with Bath & Body Works providing surveillance photos to the department.
“It took a while for them to provide that to us,” Williams said.
