The door is open at Blink in Merchants Square, and it’s worth the climb to take the stairs up to the region’s premier boutique shopping spot.

The first-ever United States-based Katie Loxton shop-in-shop is inside Blink, owned by sisters Vicki Bristow and Deanne David.
“We expanded to the U.S. four years ago, and Blink was actually one of the first shops we started doing business with when we met them at our first trade show in New York,” said Harry Loxton, vice president of Katie Loxton, Ltd. “They’ve been a great, great partner for us for the last four years. They do a great job in showing the depth that Katie Loxton offers, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to develop the shop-in-shop here in Williamsburg.”
The Katie Loxton label offers fashion and lifestyle accessories that include handbags, jewelry, stationary, candles, scarves and fragrances.
The spacious shop-in-shop inside Blink is a world onto itself that invites customers to freely browse, check out how a handbag feels or examine the necklaces, earrings and bracelets up close. All jewelry is either silver- or gold-plated and without nickel to aggravate the ears.
Everybody’s favorite is The Perfect Pouch, the first piece ever designed for the collection. The signature piece is a cross between a clutch or a bag organizer, though its uses are endless. Its dreamy colors range from salmon pink to pale blue to metallic champagne, but it’s only a starting point for shoppers exploring all things Katie Loxton.
The variety inside Blink will satisfy even the most finicky female. Saddle bags, clutches, crossbody purses and backpacks offer plenty to choose from. All the fabrics are vegan-friendly.
“We feel honored that we were selected to be the first shop-in-shop in the whole United States,” Bristow said.
Blink offers several Katie Loxton specialties that aren’t available otherwise. The merchandise is geared toward an ever-expanding lifestyle and is especially perfect for gifting.

“These are gifts to treasure,” Bristow said.
Every Katie Loxton product is placed inside a white gift bag and tied with a chic gray ribbon bow to accent the presentation. Individual gifts and gift sets can be purchased for moms, babies, weddings, birthdays, friends and more.
The “treat yourself” option is always there, too, Bristow said.
Who can resist a Katie Kape? These accessories, a twist on typical capes and scarves, are fully reversible.
“Katie Kapes are amazing,” Bristow says. “They have fitted sleeves, so they wrap around your shoulders beautifully and don’t fall off.”
