York County Parks and Recreation is taking registrations for the Smart Start soccer program now through Feb. 25.
For York County residents, registration will cost $55 per child and $80 for non-county residents.
Smart Soccer is a co-ed class and instructional program with paid instructors. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children in learning the fundamentals of soccer.
Children ages 3-5 years old and their parents can sign up for this six-week program beginning on March 6 and ending April 24, with a break in class schedule from April 3-10.
Classes meet for one hour each week and are limited to 15 children per class.
Parents may register 5-year-olds for either this instructional program or for the 6-years-old and younger Co-ed League. Age of participants is based on their age as of Sept. 30.
More information and the registration portal are available on the Parks & Recreation website.
