Tap into your child’s artistic side with this painting kit

Families running out of ways to entertain their kids during the coronavirus pandemic can now breathe a sigh of relief.

James City County Parks and Recreation department is offering at-home painting kits for kids ages 3-5 years old.

Families can choose from geometric shapes, first initial art or house and yard, according to the department’s Facebook post.

Each kit costs $10 and all supplies are included. You can register to pick up a kit here.

PeeWee Painting At-Home Kits are available starting in January through April. To register, sign up online or call 757-259-4200.

Once registered, the county will send an email to schedule a time to pick up the art kits. For more information, call 757-259-5353.
