The James City County and the York County Board of Supervisors elected new board members as part of their annual organizational meetings this week.
One of the items on the agenda: Elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman.
In James City County, Michael Hipple was elected Chairman of the JCC BOS and Sue Sadler was elected Vice Chairman.
Hipple, who represents the Powhatan District, was previously elected to the Board in November 2013 and then reelected in November 2017. Sadler represents the Stonehouse District and was elected to the Board in November 2015. She was then reelected in November 2019.
At the York County meeting on Tuesday, W. Chad Green was picked as 2021 Chairman and Sheila S. Noll was chosen as Vice Chairman.
Green is serving his second term on the Board and represents District 3. Noll is in her seventh term and represents the residents of District 2.
