The York County School Division announced a new meal distribution schedule for students and their families.

The free meals are now available for pickup once a week starting on Wednesday.

“The weekly meal distribution process will be in effect for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year,” according to the school division’s Facebook post on Jan. 5. “Meal bags will contain a weeks’ worth of breakfast, lunch and milk.”

The meals are available to families with children 18 years old and younger. Families can pick up the meals on Wednesdays between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Previously, the free meals were distributed multiple days each week and while the distribution days have changes, the meal sites have not. See the list of meal pick-up locations below.
