New Year’s Day wasn’t just a happy new year for Jiraiya Harris, it was also happy birthday.
Jiraiya – 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 19 inches long – became the first baby born at a Riverside Health System hospital in 2021. She was welcomed into the world at 5:26 a.m. by parents Janisha Bartlett and Derrick Harris, Jr. at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News.
