The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect in the shooting late Saturday morning in the 800 block of Rochambeau Drive.
Authories say the shooting happened just before 11 a.m. and a male victim was taken to the hospital.
The sheriff’s office has warrants for Alexander E. Berkeley, a 29-year-old resident of James City County for two counts of Attempted Murder, one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding, one count of attempted malicious wounding, one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Berkeley should be considered to be armed and dangerous, the sheriff’s office said.
