Santa Claus is calling children ahead of the big day. Here’s how

Santa Claus is making time to call kids in December and James City County Parks & Recreation has the hook up.

The department is giving kids the chance to hear from Santa and Mrs. Claus by offering free phone calls to the North Pole, according to a news release from the county.

Kids 9 years old and younger living in Williamsburg and James City County can get a phone call from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Mom and Dad can sign up here by Dec. 1.

Children can expect Santa and Mrs. Claus to call on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. There are no specific time slots because of the couple’s “holiday schedule.”
