Busch Gardens Williamsburg announced Monday a new limited capacity event called Christmas Celebration.
“Sparkling lights, beautiful decorations, festive foods, live seasonal music, exciting coasters and attractions, plus abundant shopping with physical distancing will make the spirit of the season come alive,” according to a news release from the park.
Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration will offer day and evening reservation from Nov. 13 to Jan. 1.

Similar to the park’s Halloween Harvest event, Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration will operate with enhanced health and safety protocols for cleaning and sanitizing, physical distancing, face covering requirements and temperature screenings, according to the news release.
Reservations and tickets will be available starting Monday (Nov. 2). Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration event admission starts at $39.99. To book tickets, visit the park’s website.
Eight of the park’s nine villages will be open for guests to explore in order to provide ample space for social distancing. Guests can enjoy 15 roller coasters and thrill rides, new live entertainment, photo opportunities and a Gingerbread Scavenger Hunt throughout the park.

Also available for guests will be many new food and specialty beverage options, including specialty cocktails like the “Cranberry Hot Toddy,” “Warm Apple Pie Cocktail,” “After Dinner Mint Cocktail,” specialty hot chocolate and a variety of winter beers.
Santa Claus will also make an appearance at the park. He will greet kids in his workshop where the park has installed plexiglass and physical distancing signage for extra safety.

“We continue to operate with enhanced health and safety measures, and have created an event full of Christmas experiences for kids and adults that safely deliver a festive combination of exciting coasters, rides, live holiday music and delicious food and drinks,” added Lembke.
