If you’re looking for a job and not sure where to start, this academy might help.

The Job Search Ready Academy, a virtual series of helpful webinars to help people find jobs, starts Monday.

“The Job Search Ready Academy returns for five days of online instructions that will get participants ‘hire ready’ and back to work,”  according to the Facebook post from the City of Williamsburg.

The event is free and registration closes on Sunday, Sept 20. You can register for the event here.

Attendees can expect to learn job skills such as resume building, sending better online applications and “acing” the interview.

The academy has five sessions, each focusing different topics. Participants can join via Zoom using a computer or smartphone with internet access, according to the Eventbrite page.

The Virtual Job Search Academy starts Monday, Sept. 21-25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The times are tentative and registration closes on Sunday.
