Those looking for new places to shop in Williamsburg will probably find themselves at the new Old Navy location.
Buzz about a new Old Navy location has been circulating on local social media forums since April when a sign was posted outside a storefront in Settlers Market stating an Old Navy would be coming soon.
Rosenthal Properties, which leases Settlers Market, confirmed Wednesday that Old Navy would be coming to the shopping center. It will be located at 5225 Settlers Market Blvd., Suite 140. Dress Barn had previously leased the space but closed the location in 2019 along with 650 other locations nationwide.
The new Old Navy store plans to open in fall 2020, but there is not a set date, said Amanda Faverty, director of marketing and leasing administrative assistant for Rosenthal.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Old Navy, one of the largest fashion retailers to Settlers Market. Old Navy will bring more variety to an already strong tenant mix,” said Nora Foley, vice president of leasing for Rosenthal, in a news release. “We are thrilled that Old Navy will open soon and feel they will have great success here.”
Old Navy is an American clothing and accessories retailer that first opened in California in 1994. As a national retailer, the business now generates more than $7.9 billion in sales annually.
