The Hampton public libraries now offer curbside pick-up of books, DVDs and other material available for checkout.
Customers can look up books and other items online or call the library to make your request. View the online catalog here.
“When your materials are ready, the library will call you, using the information from your library card account, and set up a pickup time,” according to the news release. “When you get to the library, call from your car to let them know you’re in the parking lot. They will place your items on the table outside, and you can get out and retrieve them from the table.”
In addition, staff can create a “book bundle” based on the customer’s request for different genres such as mysteries and Sci-Fi to self help and children books.
