Multiple RVs burn at Camping World in Newport News

Newport News Fire officials said a Friday morning 2-alarm blaze at Camping World is under investigation.

Crews responded to 11936 Jefferson Ave. at around 1:39 a.m. – dispatchers received multiple calls about recreational vehicles on fire with propane explosions at the business.

Officials said 12 trailers caught fire. Crews brought the fire under control at 3:20 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

A damage estimate was not immediately available.
