The Newport News Parks, Recreation & Tourism has been hosting daily contests on its Facebook page since April 13.
Winners can use the NNPRT Bucks for programs such as instructional classes, museums and community centers.
“To enter the contest you must reply to the original post in the comments,” NNPRT Bucks Contest section of the city’s website. “Winners will receive $5 NNPRT Bucks. Each winner may earn up to $50 NNPRT Bucks.”
The NNPRT Bucks Contests are posted each day at noon and the winners are announced the next day, according to the Newport News Special Events Facebook page.
The NNPRT Bucks are redeemed once the facilities open up to the public.
The NNPRT Bucks Contest is at the Newport News Special Events Facebook page at noon daily. The NNPRT Bucks cannot be redeemed for cash, to pay off existing balances or used for select agencies.
