Utility work will be closing a portion of Kempsville Road starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, according to a press release.
City officials say the closure is to safely facilitate roadwork that needs to be done.
The inside lanes of northbound and southbound Kempsville Road between Stratford Chase Drive and Bellamy Manor Drive will be closed. Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the utility work. Area residents will have access to their properties at all times. This work is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. the next day, March 14; weather permitting.
