The city of Norfolk is inviting you to give input on the future of its downtown.

City officials say they are working on the  Downtown Update 2030, which will provide strategies for keeping development, infrastructure, and services aligned with the vision for the City.

Multimodal Norfolk will provide the framework for both large and small transportation decisions and will help define the direction that Norfolk’s transportation system will take over the coming years, according to a press release.

The public is invited to provide input on Downtown Plan 2030 and Multimodal Norfolk at two input sessions on March 12 at the Decker Half Moone Center.

  • 8:30AM-10:30AM
  • 5:30PM-7:30PM

Multimodal Norfolk includes a full redesign of the city’s public transportation system that will look at ways to improve the bus and transit system – and make it easier for all users to connect, including on foot, by bicycle or scooter and in vehicles.
