Vice President Mike Pence will visit NASA Langley Research Center on Wednesday.
Pence will tour the facility and talk with the employees, according to a news release from the vice president’s office.
He will be in Langley from 11 a.m. to about 1:15 p.m., according to NASA officials.
After that visit, Pence will be at Hampton University’s Proton Therapy Institute in celebration of Black History Month and to highlight the university’s efforts in providing state-of-the art cancer research and treatment.
There, the vice president will tour the “world’s largest free-standing proton therapy facility” and participate in a roundtable with Hampton University students, staff, and patients, according to the news release.
Pence is also scheduled to go to Virginia Beach to visit with Naval Special Warfare Operators.
