Giving Tuesday is around the corner. Here’s where you can donate

Giving Tuesday is Dec. 3, right after Thanksgiving, and several nonprofits across the Peninsula need donations.

The global movement is a day to encourage people to do good and to invest in the community, according to the official Giving Tuesday website.

Here’s a list of nonprofits in Williamsburg, James City County, York County, Hampton and Newport News who are participating in Giving Tuesday this year.
