Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA) is hosting a town hall at the Williamsburg Library Theater next week.
The event is free but limited to 200 people. Get your E-ticket here.
“It will be great to be back in Williamsburg and hear about the issues that matter most to our community,” Luria said. “Town halls allow me to hear directly from those I represent and connect residents with key federal agencies. I look forward to a productive dialogue.”
Luria is hosting the event to hear ideas, suggestions and questions from residents and attendees can ask about specific pieces of legislation as well as discuss how she can best represent Hampton Roads, according to a news release from Luria’s office.
Luria represents Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District which includes Accomack and Northampton counties, portions of York County, and the cities of Virginia Beach and Williamsburg and parts of the cities of Norfolk and Hampton.
The town hall will be similar to the previous Yorktown town hall in May.
Luria’s town hall is at the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater, 515 Scotland St., on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and capacity is limited to 200 people.
