VIRGINIA BEACH – If you’re wondering what’s up with Laskin Road, you can see a preliminary construction schedule and learn about anticipated traffic impacts at a “Pardon our Dust” meeting hosted by VDOT.

It will be on Thursday (4-6 p.m.) at Linkhorn Park Elementary School 977 First Colonial Road.

The meeting will also provide residents an opportunity to informally review planned improvements for Laskin Road between Republic Road and Red Robin Road, including the removal of service or “feeder” roads, replacement of the Linkhorn Bay Bridge and improvements to the Laskin Road/First Colonial Road intersection, officials said.

The meeting is an open-house style format with no formal presentation given.

Interested residents who cannot attend the meeting are encouraged to sign up for project updates here.
