Coddiwomple, you say? Well, it’s coming to Williamsburg — again

Coddiwomple Local Music Festival is back for its second year.

Iota Creative Collective and the Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg are hosting the event and proceeds will go to The Arc of Greater Hampton Roads and The Richard E. & Janet L. DePaul Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship.

This year’s event shines a light on how music, and members of the creative community at large, can promote awareness and inclusion through music and art, with proceeds benefiting organizations serve the Hampton Roads community, according to the event’s news release.

In addition, attendees can participate in “Yoga In The Park” and listen to original music from various artists including Hoot & Annie, The Fillmore Duo and ROEBUCK.

Billsburg Brewery, Precarious Beer Project, Virginia Beer Co. and Aleworks Brewing Company will have beer selections and food vendors including Old City BBQ and Uncle Russ’ Seafood Truck will be in attendance.

The 2nd Annual Coddiwomple Local Music Festival is at the Dewitt Wallace Decorative Art Museum, 325 Francis St. E on Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
