Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information can call 888-LOCK-U-UP (888-562-5887).
Tipsters can also submit a tip through the P3Tips website or by downloading the P3 Tips app available in Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.

Police said the man pictured got away with $1,500 in what they called a “basic flim-flam scam” at the Atlantic Union Bank on Indian River Road July 23. The man, who witnesses said had a heavy Middle Eastern accent, asked a teller to exchange a handful of cash for $50 bills, then handed the exchanged cash back to the teller and asked for Euros. When the teller said the bank could not provide Euros, police said the man asked for the original cash back and walked out.
These two men are allegedly using stolen credit cards to shop at various stores all over Hampton Roads police said. Police also said the men appear to be between the ages of 35 to 45 with one of them wearing a Marvel Black Panther cap.

Police are looking for this man who they said stole a purse out a shopping cart at the Walmart on Pheonix Drive July 18.
A stranger invited this man into their home before he allegedly stole from them on July 9 police said. The man also took car keys, money, and credit cards which police said he has used at several stores.
