VIRGINIA BEACH – Police here are piecing together what led to a double homicide involving an elderly couple.
Meanwhile, the couple’s son, Christopher Shawn Brady, 44, was taken into custody Monday charged with two counts of murder and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held in the Virginia Beach City Jail without bond.
Police have identified the man’s parents as Roy and Sheila Brady, both 73.
No other details about the incident were released pending an investigation.
Authorities said detectives received information around 1 p.m. Monday “that led them to initiate a welfare check at a residence in the 400 block of Kellam Road.”
There, they found Ron and Sheila Brady dead.
