Beach Breach Weekly: One of these guys was supposed to be guarding

Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.

Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.

Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information can call 888-LOCK-U-UP (888-562-5887).

Tipsters can also submit a tip through the P3Tips website or by downloading the P3 Tips app available in Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.

Police are on the lookout for the man driving this 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado after he allegedly stole lawn equipment from a locked trailer in the 1900 block of Diamond Springs Road. Police said the man who was wearing a white shirt placed tape over a portion of his front and rear Virginia tag and appeared to know where all the cameras were.

The two men pictured above allegedly stole several items from 7-Eleven on June 3, police said. They said the man wearing the green hoodie reached behind the counter to steal electronic cigarette supplies.

Police said the men pictured above attempted to conceal stolen packages of candy in a backpack at a Walmart store. The loss prevention employee was able to recover the backpack when the suspects ran away. The men got into a dark blue Nissan sedan and drove off, police said.

Police are looking for this woman who they say stole a bottle of vodka from an ABC store.

The man pictured above is wanted for theft from the 7-Eleven at 5201 Providence Road, police said. On May 21, he was stealing while in uniform, police said.
