Flavortown is coming back to Hampton Roads — again.

Guy Fieri, the Food Network host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, is opening two new restaurants in Hampton.

“Guy Fieri is a pioneer of finding food that’s fabulous, fun and not fussy,” said Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck. “That inspiration is a perfect fit for Hampton — in fact, such a good fit that we will be the site of two of his restaurants.”

According to the city’s announcement, Guy’s Dive & Taco Joint, based in Kansas City, Missouri, and Guy Fieri’s Pizza Parlor, the first establishment of its kind, will open in June.

The two new restaurants will be between PBR Hampton Roads and Bass Pro Shops, off Power Plant Parkway. It is also near the new indoor off-track betting venue, Rosie’s, which is scheduled to open in late September.

Both restaurants are hiring starting Monday (April 29) at PBR Hampton, 1976 Power Plant Parkway and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fieri opened Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse at Norfolk’s Waterside District in May 2017.

Cordish Companies, the public relations firm for Fieri, did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
