VIRGINIA BEACH — Public Works here said crews will begin roadway improvement work on portions of Lynnhaven Parkway Monday (April 22).
The work will be on Lynnhaven Parkway (northbound) from Potter’s Road to Virginia Beach Boulevard, and on Lynnhaven Parkway (southbound) from Virginia Beach Boulevard to South Lynnhaven Road.
The improvements will include milling, paving, and pavement marking, and the work is expected to be completed by May 15.
Crews will be working from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day, officials said.
The project is likely to produce traffic delays, congestion, and some construction noise. Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of lane closures.
Motorists are urged to use alternate traffic routes whenever possible, officials said.
All scheduled work is weather permitting.
