Here’s what’s open, closed on Easter in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH — Most city offices and facilities are closed on Sunday in observance of Easter.

Sunday’s operating hours are:

  • All Community Recreation Centers: Closed
  • All Public Libraries and the TCC Joint-Use Library: Closed
  • Animal Care & Adoption Center: Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Farmers Market:
    • Carnival – 1 to 9 p.m.
  • Museums:
    • Francis Land House, Lynnhaven House, Princess Anne County Training School / Union Kempsville High School Museum and Thoroughgood House are closed
    • Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Museum: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Visitor Information Center
    • Visitor Information Center – 2100 Parks Ave.: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Chesapeake Bay Center at First Landing State Park: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
