NORFOLK — Tidewater Drive underpass will undergo a street resurfacing project starting April 1 until mid-May.
Motorists should expect alternating lane closures, intermittent traffic stoppages and are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid construction.
Work will be performed during the weekday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The project will resurface the streets with a new layer of asphalt to promote a smooth and safe driver experience and help to support the city’s multi-transit system, officials said in a news release.
