It’s never too early for summertime fun, and Virginia MOCA just opened its registration

VIRGINIA BEACH — Spring is just around the corner, and registration for summer art camp at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach is now open.

The art camp includes creative classes for children ages 2-17, and runs July 8 through Aug. 30. The camp explores a variety of media including glass, animation, clay, painting, and more.

“Children and teens exercise their imaginations and express themselves through art classes designed specifically to challenge and inspire,” according to a description of the classes on MOCA’s website.

Those interested in registering their children for camp may do so online, by phone, or in person.

Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Students are notified in the event of a cancellation. Financial aid scholarships are available thanks to The Cohen Family Memorial Fund. Click here to download the application form.
