VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
This week’s edition of Beach Breach Weekly consists of updates to fugitives featured in past articles.
Here’s this week’s list:
Susan Rene Ennis, 45, was wanted for cruelty to animals and failing to provide vet care, police said. She was featured in a Feb. 12 edition of Beach Breach Weekly and turned herself into police on Feb. 15.
On Nov. 15, 2018, the man pictured above stole several DVD movies from the Walmart on Phoenix Drive, police said. The suspect placed the movies in his backpack and then walked out of the store without paying. The incident was included in the Jan. 15 edition of Beach Breach Weekly, and police said the man was caught and the case has been solved.
Erica Kimesha Evette Atkins, 26, was arrested in Portsmouth on Sept. 8, 2018 on a charge of grand larceny, police said. She was featured in a July 24, 2018 edition of Beach Breach Weekly.
