The Colonial Downs live betting racetrack will open soon and it’s hiring multiple positions at its two upcoming jobs fairs.
Mike Donovan, vice president of marketing for Colonial Downs and Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, said the jobs include marketing representatives, cooks, cashier and other positions.
“If you or anybody you know is interested in hospitality, like horses or they’re just nice, I think that nice might just be really what we are looking for,” he said in a Facebook live event.
The company has more than 200 jobs available and those who attend the job fairs get on the spot interviews and meet the team. Colonial Downs racetrack is scheduled to open April 20 with live racing starting Aug. 8.
