Need help filing your taxes? This university will file your tax returns—-for free

HAMPTON — The Hampton University School of Business is helping people file their taxes from now until April 15.

The service is free and open to Hampton Roads residents.

According to the university’s announcement, student volunteers at the business school have provided the tax services for 20 years and must undergo training before filing tax returns.

“With your routing and account number, we can file your tax return with a direct deposit back into your account,” said P. Michael Mclain, assistant professor at Hampton University’s School of Business.
