VIRGINIA BEACH — Beginning Thursday, the section of Flanagans Lane between Sandbridge Road and Ashville Park Boulevard will be closed for roadside construction associated with the Ashville Park Weir project.
Work is expected to last through Jan. 30, city officials said.
During the road closure, traffic will detour through Ashville Park via Ashville Park Boulevard to Princess Anne Road.
All scheduled work is weather permitting.
Residential properties in the immediate vicinity of the road closure will remain accessible. No interruption to refuse collection or other City services is anticipated, according to the city.
