Call the cops if you know who shot this person to death in Hampton

HAMPTON – A call about a possible stolen vehicle turned into a homicide investigation Tuesday morning after police found a person dead inside the vehicle.

Very few details have been released about the 2:49 a.m. call.

It was at that time that police were dispatched “in reference to a possible stolen vehicle” in the area of Duluth Court and Juanita Drive.

There, police found “a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside of a vehicle,” according to a news release from Hampton Police.

That “male victim” was pronounced dead at the scene. Information about his identity was not immediately released.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to call the Hampton Police Division at 757–727–6111 or the Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP.
