Microchip your pet for $20. Here’s how

NEWPORT NEWS- The Peninsula SPCA and the Peninsula SPCA Veterinary Clinic is hosting a microchip event for pets Friday.

Microchipping your pet costs $20 and no appointment is necessary.

According to the event’s Facebook page, the nonprofit shelter wants all pets being microchipped to either be on leashes (dogs) or places in a pet carrier (cats). Read more about microchipping here.

The Pet Microchip Clinic is at the Peninsula SPCA, 523 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. on Friday, Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
