VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Here’s this week’s list:
On Dec. 2, three men entered Walmart at Salem Crossing. Police said they placed a backpacks, bicycle kits, cameras, video game controllers, and a hover board in a cart. Police said the man pictured above wearing a red shirt pushed the cart out of the store without paying. Two men are pictured here and the other is a juvenile, police said.

On Dec. 2, the man and woman pictured above went to the Walmart at Salem Crossing. They loaded up a shopping cart with toys and pushed the cart out of the store without paying, police said. The store reported the toys were valued at more than $400.
On Dec. 4, the man pictured above went to the ABC store on Independence Boulevard. Police said he hid two bottles of Ciroc Black Raspberry Vodka in his jacket and walked out without paying.
Updates:
- Brandon Arko, who was featured in Beach Breach Weekly on July 17, has had his warrants purged and is no longer wanted, police said.
- Samuel Madden, featured in Beach Breach Weekly on Aug. 7, was arrested, police said. An arrest date was not provided.
- David Zimmerman, who was featured in Beach Breach Weekly on Aug. 21, was found by police and served him summons.
- Ashley Moore, Ashley Dittbrenner, and Ashley Staton — all featured in the Sept. 18 Beach Breach Weekly — have since been arrested.
