While warmer temperatures helped thaw some snowfall in the Historic Triangle Monday, freezing temperatures may cause slick roads overnight into Tuesday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures to drop below freezing around 6 p.m. Monday, with lows around 28 degrees overnight.

Temperatures will stay below freezing until around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Williamsburg area.

Tuesday is forecast to begin partly sunny, then become fully sunny as the day progresses. The Weather Service forecast calls for a high of 44 degrees.
