NORFOLK – The Elizabeth River Trail Foundation and the Social Cycling Club Norfolk are hosting a costume bike ride throughout the city Friday.
The event is open to all ages and holiday costumes are encouraged.
According to the event’s Facebook page, the ride starts at Smartmouth Brewing Company and continues on the Elizabeth River Trail through West Ghent and Ghent neighborhoods ending in Downtown Norfolk at Benchtop Brewing Company.
Riders can see holiday lights throughout the city during the bike ride and there will be several points along the route to regroup.
The Santa Bike Party starts at Smartmouth Brewing Company, 1309 Raleigh Ave., starts at 7 p.m.
