VIRGINIA BEACH — Public Works has announced that a portion of Greenwich Road, just off Witchduck Road, will be closed for nine days beginning at 7 a.m. Friday.
It will remain closed until Dec. 17.
The closure will run from Witchduck Road to approximately one quarter of a mile down Greenwich Road.
Crews will be installing a large storm drain outfall that will run from Witchduck Road and down Greenwich Road, along with restoration work and installing guardrails. Kevcor Contracting is the contractor for the job.
Message boards and signs are in place to notify drivers of the scheduled work.
All work is weather permitting.
