Van Winkle bourbon is back in Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control stores.

Starting Dec. 5, Virginia ABC stores will distribute several bourbons from the “highly popular” Van Winkle series, according to a Virginia ABC news release.

The bourbon’s popularity has provided the Van Winkle brand with a strong following, one that has spread well beyond the borders of Kentucky where it all began more than 100 years ago.

The bourbon will be sold through online lotteries.

ABC customers will also be able to enter to win a four-bottle Van Winkle Collection package which includes Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23-Year, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15-Year, Van Winkle Special Reserve 12-Year and Van Winkle Special Reserve 10-Year bourbons.

Each lottery entry form is available for five days. Winners will be chosen randomly from the pool of entries.

Entrants must be of legal drinking age, Virginia residents. A valid photo identification card is required at time of purchase.

“Our online lottery system provides the equal opportunity for any Virginian of legal age to purchase a bottle from this highly sought after collection,” said Travis Hill, Virginia ABC Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to be able to offer Van Winkle series products by lottery again this year.”

Here are the dates to enter:

  • Dec. 5-9 – Van Winkle Collection package; $999.99
  • Dec. 12-16 – Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23-Year Bourbon; $269.99
  • Dec. 19-23 – Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15-Year Bourbon; $99.99
  • Jan. 2-6 – Van Winkle Special Reserve 12-Year Bourbon; $69.99
