Drivers on Interstate 64 should expect a series of nightly lane closures — and possibly some delays — through the week.
As a result of VDOT’s I-64 widening project between Route 199 (exit 242) to Yorktown Road (exit 247), certain ramps and lanes will experience closures from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1.
Most of the lane closures are lifted from Wednesday, Nov. 21, to Monday, Nov. 26.
Work will also continue on segments II and III of the project.
Detour signs will be in place for overnight closures.
