VIRGINIA BEACH — Who doesn’t like a good old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage ride?
Especially when they’re free.
The Shops at Hilltop will be doing just that, hosting free horse-drawn carriage rides noon to 3:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
- Nov. 23 -24 and Dec. 1 at Hilltop East, in the parking lot near the TASTE and Forbes Candies shops.
- Dec. 8, 15, and 22 at Hilltop West, in the parking lot near LaVera Pizziera.

Rides are first come, first served, according to the Shops at Hilltop’s website. No tickets necessary.
Attendees can print the Facebook event page for the carriage rides and bring it with them for a discount on photography.
Those with the printed page receive $2 off photos — which are regularly $5 — making them $3 each if you bring the printed page.
