VIRGINIA BEACH — Believe it or not, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in parts of the city.
And here’s one reminder that the holidays are near: The Grand Illumination will come to the Center Court of Lynnhaven Mall on Friday starting at 6 p.m.
Kids and adults alike will find the holiday spirit alive and well there, with live entertainment from acrobatics and stilt walkers, according to the mall’s website.
Children 12 and younger will receive a free exclusive “mystery light up holiday item” that will be used to welcome Santa during his grand entrance.
Santa will be available for photos and meet-and-greets from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Although the event begins at 6 p.m., distribution of the mystery light up holiday item will start at 5:30 p.m. in Center Court near the Santa set.
No registration or tickets are required for attendance or to redeem item.
